Balchik (Balchik), Bulgaria - Hotel Achilles
This summer I was the whole novel, from sea to Bulgaria. Like "Cheaper" and is all-inclusive. More specifically, one week in Balchik (Balchik), Hotel Achilles. Here are some findings may help someone:
Pros:
- gorgeous scenery, great at the foot of a limestone hill, to see the botanical garden and castle cacti Queen Mary;
- peace, although each restaurant has its music, often live, the noise level decreases Manele excluded;
- lack pitzipoance , cocalari and foodie related, have lagged behind in Mamaia;
- small restaurants, many relatively cheap.
Cons:
- All-Inclusive sucks for the following reasons:
- program is one of pioneers, eg between 7.30-10 breakfast, if you later find locked up, if you want to stay night at the pool after 22 hours and is closed;
- acceptable food difficult, Note 6 on a scale of 1-10;
- acceptable harder drinks, juice from the dispenser (Tek ancient sites in '94) he does not touch anyone, and tell them one thing that beer, brands I tried.
- no beach, sit in the sun on rocks or shells
Warning if you go with children. I went with my son for a year, on which he continues to walk in the pram. Although people from the agency assured us that the sea is "very close" , had to descend / climb some stairs for about 40 meters difference in level to reach high / hotel, and this 3 times a day. With a hand truck and other beach bag, was not a very pleasant experience.
We recommend that you inform yourself well before going in Balchik. Ask someone who has been a review. And avoid all-inclusive hotel Achilles at least, eat a bit more expensive but much better restaurants around.

I just got back from Balchik, where I stayed at the hotel Achille and I can say that things have changed some of the issues listed for you:
- The breakfast program is from 7.30-10, but it is ok for a 3 * hotel for food and drink nonstop choose a 4 * hotel and more;
- Food is just 8-9, indeed drink is served in something like teak, but is quite good and the beer is very good.
About rooms can say they are ok, maybe a little smell from neaerisire.
Regarding the beach, the hotel is near the main beach of Balchik, there is a large supermarket next to Lidia, who EStG very similar to those in romania, just something clean.
Can someone help what I wrote.
Although everyone ingesuie to go to sea, how much UV radiation in the atmosphere have increased by two times I prefer the mountains, cool, no noise, no lack of place on the beach ... just you and the mountain, perhaps as Stana de Vale closer to me, or Apususeni Mountains, and low expense, and vacation.
